Day 190 - Key of Life (Japanese)

"Sakurai (Masato Sakai) is an aspiring actor who becomes frustrated with his life. Sakurai then decides to kill himself, but before committing suicide Sakurai heads off to a public bathhouse. At the bathhouse, Sakurai then witnesses a man named Kondo (Teruyuki Kagawa) collapse and lose his memory in front of Sakurai. On a sudden whim, Sakurai switches locker keys with Kondo and pretends to be Kondo. Sakurai soon finds himself in trouble with the yakuza ... "

Key of Life has a very nice concept but poor execution. This film also features the beautiful Ryoko Hirosue who starred in Wasabi and The Depatures. She is a wonderful actress with an upright personality that you can't help but fall in love with her characters. She plays a cold/clueless woman in this film that declares she wants to get married but doesn't know to whom. Her appearance is the best thing about the film other than I didn't really like it. It was slow in a bad way with no one surprises or thrilling sequences.
