Day 96 - Dilinger (American 1973)

"It stars Warren Oates as Dillinger and Ben Johnson as his pursuer, FBI Agent Melvin Purvis. It contains the first film performance by the singer Michelle Phillips as Dillinger's moll as Billie Frechette. The film, narrated by Purvis, chronicles the last few years of Dillinger's life (depicted as a matter of months) as the FBI and law enforcement closed in. The setting is Depression era America, 1933-34."

Disappointed in this film, it was so full of holes. They created characters that didn't exist in real life and made me confuse. They couldn't decide on how to portray Dillinger, he was a man of principles one second and a thug the next. The writing wasn't all too well done but the acting wasn't that bad. I suggest this film if you like old bank robbers movies. This is not a classic
