Day 333 - The Woodmans (Documentary)

The Woodmans (2010) Poster

"The story of a family that suffers a tragedy, but perseveres and finds redemption through each other and their work - making art."
It was interesting but it felt like it lacked in emotion at times. Several interviewees did choke up when they talked about Francesca but I do like the realistic emotion behind this documentary. The whole focus of the documentary seemed to be mostly about Francesca despite what the synopsis says. Robert the son of the family was rarely talked about which made the documentary lose its feeling a bit. There wasn't a whole lot in the documentary either, it felt empty in a way but it still shows us an interesting artist.

Day 332 - Elysium (American)

Elysium Poster.jpg

" film takes place on both a ravaged Earth, and a luxurious space habitat called Elysium.[5] It explores political and sociological themes such as immigration, overpopulation, health care, exploitation, the justice system, and class issues.[6]"

Basically an Ex-con exposed to radiation tries his best in order to reach Elysium where he can be cured. The design of the world wasn't that bad but I think the general pace of the film caused this film to be less successful. Matt Damon did an okay job but he could have been a thousand times better. As I watched this film I wondered how Eminem would have looked if he had accepted the role. The back up characters were very weak depth wise and at times really annoying. In the beginning the film was at a normal pace but it took  a much faster approach towards the time. Not a whole lot happens in the film it would have been better to see the characters struggle more. There were a few good moments in the film but there was room for a lot of improvement. Also I watched this film I learned it was directed by the guy who did District 9 and it was obvious to why this movie was flawed.

Day 331 - Jiro Dreams of Sushi (Documentary)

A bald eldery Japanese mean wearing glasses. Framed by eight squares showing different types of sushi.

"The film follows Jiro Ono (小野 二郎 Ono Jirō?), an 85-year-old sushi master and owner of Sukiyabashi Jiro, a Michelin three-star restaurant, on his continuing quest to perfect the art of sushi. The film also profiles Jiro's two sons, both of whom are also sushi chefs. The younger son, Takashi (隆士), left Sukiyabashi Jiro to open a mirror image of his father's restaurant in Roppongi Hills. The 50-year-old elder son, Yoshikazu (禎一), obligated to succeed his father, still works for Jiro and is faced with the prospect of one day taking over the flagship restaurant."_wiki

An almost elegant documentary filmed about a perfectionist. Not only is the documentary about sushi and it is also about life. I found Mr. Ono to be quite knowledge and hardworking man who is still active in what he wants to do. The director David Gelb did a great job with everything, this documentary is the best one I've seen in quite a while. This kind of documentary will keep your focus for many reasons.

Day 330 - 14 Blades (Hong Kong)

14Blades.jpg
"A kung fu thriller set during the Ming Dynasty and centered on a secret service agent (Donnie Yen) in the emperor's court who is betrayed and then hunted by his colleagues"

An excellent wuxia film from Daniel Lee and Donnie Yen. I enjoyed the story as well as the fighting and character development. First off Donnie Yen is very badass in this film, with blades and with his fists. He uses a slightly different fighting style in this film than his other movies. Zhao Wei was quite subtle in this film which made her kind of the perfect maiden for Donnie Yen's character. There is a quite blunt reference to pirates of the Caribbean with "Judge" whose clothes are very similar to Jack Sparrow. This is a wonderful film to watch on a thanksgiving day or simply a slow day. It could have been better but for what it has its great and I overall enjoyed the movie. (especially Tuo Tuo)

Day 329 - H.H. Holmes: AMerica's First Serial Killer (Documentary)

H.H. Holmes: America's First Serial Killer (2004) Poster

"Torture chambers, acid vats, greased chutes and gassing rooms were just some of the devices of death designed by the Torture Doctor, H.H. Holmes in his castle of horrors. Follows Holmes' entire life as a criminal mastermind."

An interesting documentary about a man who is rumored to have killed more than 200 people. John Borowski did a great job at gathering information and telling a wonderful tale through short reenactments and real pictures. This film is the people that like to learn about serial killers, one thing that is incorrect is that before Holmes there was another serial killer in America who some believe to be Jack the Ripper before the murders in England. Anyway this is one interesting documentary into the mind of a monster...

Day 328 - Island Etude (Taiwanese)

"A film about an aurally handicapped college student who grabs his bike, backpack, and guitar and goes on a 7-day, 6-night round-the-island tour. On the way he discovers the natural and cultural beauty of Taiwan and during his encounters with different people he is exposed to local arts, folk customs, approaches to environmental protection, traditional family values, and a host of other cultural enlightenments"

A visually beautifully film with limited talking from the main character and a natural supporting cast. Most of the people in the film are not actually actors but they made the movie even better with the natural feeling they gave off. It may not be the best movie but it makes it quite enjoyable when you have all these natural things present in the film. The dialogue is realistic which makes the talking scenes even better. This is the type of film someone who have never seen Taiwan would love because you get to the wonderful scenery present in the country.

Day 327 - Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon (Chinese)

YoungDetectiveDee.jpg
" the South China Sea a Chinese fleet is attacked by a mysterious sea creature, destroying many ships and leaving the remaining severely damaged. Shortly after, the young Dee Renjie (Mark Chao) arrives in the Imperial Capital Luoyang, after receiving a recommendation to join the Ministry of Justice. In an attempt to appease the sea creature, the city officials have selected the beautiful courtesan Yin Ruiji (Angelababy) to be given to the monster. Empress Wu (Carina Lau), currently serving as the regent for the current emperor, charges Yuchi (Feng Shaofeng), a member of the Ministry of Justice, to investigate the sea monster attacks, threatening execution if he does not succeed in ten days"

A complete let down from the sequel with Andy Lau. The action scenes were so fast that you barely had time to register what was happening. It was a good idea in order to hide the horrible special effects but it managed to make me lose interest in the movie. Angelababy was beautiful as ever, even more beautiful in traditional Chinese clothing. She had the best acting in the film besides Carina Lau because everyone else was so mediocre. Mark Chao had a difficult job starring as Detective Dee when the legendary actor Andy Lau played the character before. Mark Chao lacked the charisma and overall charm that Andy Lau brought to the character. Mark was crushed badly by this role which lead to a semi boring movie.
Overall the film lacked in many persons and wasn't all too entertaining. I wonder what was Tsui Hark thinking when he made a prequel.

Day 326 - No Tears for the Dead (Korean)

No Tears for the Dead-p1.jpg
"A love story between a professional hitman and his next target."

Despite what the synopsis says it is no where close to being a love story unless you are a fool. The story itself wasn't all that bad but could have been written better. Jang Dong-gun did an okay job but I felt like he was trying too hard. His English was better than it was in The Warriors Way which I appreciated. I enjoyed the multiple languages present in the film as characters spoke English, Korean, and Spanish. It felt like Kim Min-Hee grew as an actress but was held back a bit for whatever reason. The action scenes were alright but felt a little shaky in their organization. I don't think I would have make Jang Dong-gun as the lead but I appreciate that his English was above average from other Korean actors who tried to act in the language.  The ending had a great twist that I quite enjoyed so it was a total loss but its a nice movie to watch when your in the mood for a thought provoking action film. I expected a little more from the director of Man from Nowhere.

Day 325 - Serial Killer Culture (American-Documentary)

Day 324 - HOuse on Haunted Hill (American-1959)

House on Haunted Hill.jpg

"Eccentric millionaire Frederick Loren (Vincent Price) invites five people to a "party" he is throwing for his fourth wife, Annabelle (Carol Ohmart), in an allegedly haunted house he has rented, promising to give them each $10,000 with the stipulation that they must stay the entire night in the house after the doors are locked at midnight. The five guests are test pilot Lance Schroeder (Richard Long), newspaper columnist Ruth Bridges (Julie Mitchum), psychiatrist Dr. David Trent (Alan Marshal) who specializes in hysteria, Nora Manning (Carolyn Craig), who works for one of Loren's companies, and the house's owner Watson Pritchard (Elisha Cook). Pritchard disapproves of Loren's use of the house for his "party," making it unclear how Loren acquired access to the house in the first place."-wiki

Such an excellent movie with the lead being Vincent Price with his stellar voice and great acting its no wonder this movie was a success. I enjoyed the approach the director took as it was more creative and original than the remade version. There are a few slow moments but they are worth it when you see the whole movie and its conclusion. I suggest you watch this movie on a great night. Don't neglect your classics!

Day 323 - House on Haunted Hill (American)

The House On Haunted Hill.jpg

"The film is set in an abandoned asylum. The head of the facility, Dr. Richard B. Vannacutt (Jeffrey Combs), had performed grotesque experiments on the patients, killing many in the process. The hospital was closed in 1931 after the patients escaped from their cells, killing the entire staff (except five who were not present) and setting fire to the hospital. Vannacutt had rigged the building with numerous iron gates, activated by cranks and levers that can not be reset for twelve hours, to keep patients from escaping. He closed the gates during the fire, dooming the patients and himself to death. Decades later, during reconstruction of the facility, several unexplained deaths result in the building being dubbed "The House on Haunted Hill".-wiki

Such a bad movie that one should expect in a modern horror movie with an ensemble cast. There was really no flavor to this movie it trying so hard to be different from the original movie that it failed to be even half as good. There was just a sense of poor acting all around that it kind of made the movie almost unwatchable. I suggest you skip this remake.

Day 322 - The Fly (American-1958)

Theflyposter.jpg
"It tells a story of a Scientist who switches his DNA with a fly while testing out his latest invention"

I first chose to watch this movie because Vincent Price was in it but it wasn't half bad. To me this is more creative than the 1986 verison. There are a few dull moments but it had a lot of qualities that modern movies don't have. Vincent Price doesn't have the star role but his acting was good as well as the leadin cast. It was quite enjoyable to watch and its once sci-fi you need to see.

Day 321 - Escape From Planet Earth (Canadian/American)

US Advance Poster

"The film opens with Scorch Supernova (Brendan Fraser) on a mission to rescue captured babies from the Gnarlachs. He rescues them just in time before the Gnarlachs wakes up. Scorch then returns to Planet Baab where he is known as a famous hero and a love interest for anchorwoman Gabby Babblebrook (Sofía Vergara) while at BASA his brother Gary (Rob Corddry) works. Gary's son Kip (Jonathan Morgan Heit) is a big fan of his uncle Scorch. Soon, Gary and Scorch receive a message from Lena Thackleman (Jessica Alba), the head of BASA, that Scorch will be sent to the "Dark Planet" (Earth) due to an SOS call. Scorch decides to go on the mission to the Dark Planet, but Gary strongly insists that he doesn't go because he is not serious"

Really not that bad but still needs a lot of work. The story was slightly rushed with not a whole lot happening. Some of the characters could have been used better as some only make two appearances but play a semi important part later in the film. Honestly I was pleased with most of the voice acting but despite being a fan of his I don't think George Lopez was a good choice for the character he was given. Speaking of characters, each one was under developed and with the plot moving so fast you really couldn't build a connection with the characters. If they had put in more work this movie could have been better but its a longshot if they wanted to compete with the likes of Disney and Pixar.

Day 320 - Gut (American)

Gut

" mysterious video bonds two men in fear, threatening to unravel their lives as their paranoia grows more intense with each passing day. Tom was starting to grow numb when his best friend Dan claimed to have a video that would really shake him up. "

A very tacky horror movie filled with poor acting and dialogue. There was only one good scene in the movie but is lasted only a few seconds due to the actress ruining the scene. I know this is a b rated horror movie (maybe even lower) but come on you can do a better job. I advise you to skip this movie as there is no value to it.

Day 319 - King of Thorn (Japanese)

"A virus begins to grip the Earth's population and a group of hopeful survivors are cryogenically frozen in attempt to find a cure. But when the group awakens they are flung into a horrifying situation."

A waste of time to be honest, the animation style was good at some parts. The worst thing was that they kept switching the style of the movie from two very different techniques one bad and one good. The normal non action scenes were quite good but when the action scenes came around or were close they changed the style. The only thing really worth watching this movie for is the story but they decided to cut a few key parts. I think this is a disappointment to the highest degree as I felt they just got lazy with it.

Day 318 - Puppetmaster (1989-American)

Puppet Master.jpg
" psychics  are plotted against by a former colleague, using puppets animated by an Egyptian spell"

It was a complete letdown with really no value at all. Everything was so slow in the beginning then rushed towards the later part of the film. The dolls were cool but they were not used right in the film. This film suffers due to poor acting and incredibly bad directing. A lot of shots were badly positioned as well as un-necessary. Don't watch this film unless you like a uneducated movie.

Day 317 - Sky and Sea (Korean)

Sky & Ocean-p1.jpg
"Ha-Neul (Jang Na-Ra) is a gifted violonist who stays at home mostly. Ba-Da ([[Juni (actress)|Juni) was abandoned by her parents. Jin-Kyu (Yoo Ah-In) lost his parents at an early age and now delivers pizza. Through music, friendship, and love these three friends will learn lessons on life. "_wiki

A cute film with a lot of value and two decent actors. Jang Na-Ra is wonderful as Ha-Neul and she managed to circle the story around her even when she was in the same room as the other two. I didn't really like Yoo Ah-In it kind of felt un-necessary for him to be in the movie. It was an bizarre end that leaves you wondering but it is up to you on how you see it.

Day 316 - Awakenings (American-1990)

Awakenings.jpg
" It tells the true story of British neurologist Oliver Sacks, fictionalized as American Malcolm Sayer (portrayed by Robin Williams), who, in 1969, discovered beneficial effects of the drug L-Dopa. He administered it to catatonic patients who survived the 1917–28 epidemic of encephalitis lethargica. Leonard Lowe (played by Robert De Niro) and the rest of the patients were awakened after decades of catatonia and have to deal with a new life in a new time"- wiki

A decent film that could have been a lot better but is still worth a watch. Robin Williams was great in the movie, it probably also helped that Robert De Niro was his supporting actor. Both of them played their parts well. The pace of the story was good as well but it felt like the film needed more heart.

Day 315 - Arachnophobia (American)

Arachnophobia.jpg

"The story centers on a newly discovered Venezuelan spider being transported to a small American town that produces a new race of deadly spiders, which begin killing the town's residents one by one."

A kind of cool horror comedy film with Jeff Daniels as the lead and John Goodman as one of the supporting actors. The plot is simple but is ever able to tell a wonderful story. The thought of killer spiders is corny and also scary. This movie managed to make it seem natural which made it an entertaining watch. John Goodman was so funny in this film as an annoying pest exterminator, he was probably the best part of the film. The director used shadows well but he needed to do  more in the confrontation at the end. Otherwise it was a decent movie but if it was made today would be corny as hell.

Day 313 - The Blindswordsman: Zatochi (Japanese)

"The film's plot follows a traditional theme, with Zatoichi coming to the defense of townspeople caught up in a local Yakuza gang war and being forced to pay excessive amounts of protection money. "-wiki

A great samurai movie if you haven't seen one in a while. This film was meant to be the revival of the classic samurai character known as Zatoichi. Honestly I didn't expect Takeshi Kitano to do a good job but he was great in this film. He didn't play his normal role of a loud character but instead he played a man with a gentle touch. I was blown away with his acting and he did a good job directing as well. Some may laugh at the now outdated visual effects but to me they were still good. The supporting characters were good as well, I especially liked the two geishas in the film. If you like samurai this a must watch film.

Though I feel like you would appreciate the film more if you have seen the original ones. I haven't seen them yet but I plan to watch them very soon.

Day 312 - Baby Blues (Hong Kong)

Baby Blues

"When a young couple moves into a home, they find a mysterious doll that changes their lives forever."

A waste of a horror movie even if it has one of the most creepiest dolls I've ever seen. There is no value to this film the plot has so many holes its ridiculous. I have to say they did cast beautiful actresses but that didn't amount to anything with a poor script and direction. Honestly it felt like I watching two movies at the same time and nothing made sense. If that wasn't enough the film is also filled with horrible special effects.

Day 311 - Machine Gun Preacher (American)

Machine Gun Preacher Poster.jpg

"Although the film centers on Childers, it starts off with a scene in South Sudan, where the LRA are attacking a village. This opening scene is placed into context later in the film. Childers was an alcoholic drug-using biker from Pennsylvania. On his release from prison, he finds that his wife has given up her job as a stripper, because she has since become a Christian. Eventually, after he almost kills a vagrant the night before, his wife persuades him to go to church with her, where he is eventually converted." -wiki

What a let down! Gerald Butler is doing an action film once again but with poor direction and a bad script lead this film to give off a very dull feeling. His dramatic acting wasn't that good either but that could also be because of the poor direction. Nothing about this film is really inspiring or entertaining. This film was directed by Marc Forster who recently directed World War Z, but this is a bad mark on his directing portfolio. I suggest you skip this film even if you are a Butler fan.

Katie wants to become a model and requests a photo shoot from a photographer. After getting into a verbal fight with one of the men. She finds herself attacked at her home and raped constantly. When she finally manages to escape for the second time she plans her revenge.

It was a decent horror film that could have been great in better hands. The plot was simple but the execution of the revenge was unique. At times the torture scenes were sick but the revenge scenes were even better. The horrible dialogue and poor direction lead the downfall of this film. It is good for what it is but I wished to see more from this film.

Day 309 - Love is not Blind (Chinese)

Love Is Not Blind poster.jpg

"In the film, the main character, Huang Xiaoxian, is a 27-year-old woman who dreams of marriage. She has been in love with her boyfriend for 7 years. But she finally breaks up with him after she sees her boyfriend going shopping with her best friend intimately. Xiaoxian starts recovering from depression as the movie begins. During that period, her partner, Wang Xiaojian, helps her a lot. In the end, Xiaoxian is deeply touched by Xiaojian. She finds the one who will always keep her company within 1 metre."

A truly funny film with two wonderful leads. Wen Zhang amazed me in the Ocean of Heaven but he shows us that he can do comedy as well. Bai Baihe followed Wen Zhang's lead which made the romance a bit more believable. I have to say though Wen Zhang was the best in this film as he is so natural with his character that he is hilarious. The ending could have been slightly better but this is a great romantic comedy.

Day 308 - Spaceballs (American)

Spaceballs.jpg

"Planet Spaceball, led by the incompetent President Skroob, has wasted all of its air. Skroob schemes to steal air from the planet Druidia by kidnapping the daughter of King Roland, Princess Vespa, on the day of her pre-arranged wedding to the narcoleptic Prince Valium. Skroob sends Dark Helmet to complete this task with Spaceball One, an impossibly huge ship helmed by Colonel Sandurz. Before they can arrive, Vespa herself abandons her marriage and flees the planet in her personal Mercedes spaceship along with her Droid of Honor, Dot Matrix."

The best parody movie I've ever seen even though its from the late 80's. The film has an allstar cast with the likes of the late great John Candy, Rick Moranis, Mel Brooks, Bill Pullman and the late Joan Rivers. They had a lot of laughable moments and a few corny ones but this film is a great watch. I suggest you watch it if you have even seen Star Wars as you can see all of the references to the series in this film.

"Set in a run-down bar named "Pink," movie follows the lives of people surrounding the bar including its owner Ok-Ryun "_ Asian Wiki

a very interesting film with little amount of dialogue that may be boring to same but it was interesting to me. Even though some of the characters didn't talk they all had a lot of depth which helped the story or at least the pace of the film. Not my favorite film but a decent film to watch on a slow day.

Day 306 - Promised Land (American)

Promised Land Poster (2012).jpg

"Steve Butler has caught the eyes of top management at his employer, Global Crosspower Solutions, an energy company that specializes in obtaining natural gas trapped underground through a process known as fracking. Butler has an excellent track record for quickly and cheaply persuading land owners to sign mineral rights leases that grant drilling rights over to his employer. Butler and his partner Sue Thomason arrive in an economically struggling Pennsylvania farming town whose citizens are proud of having family farms passed from one generation to the next."

Could have been a thousand times better but the film had a clear message. I think with better direction and a less predictable plot would have been better for this kind of movie. I understand making a film about the environment is hard but at least you can harder. Matt Damon did an okay job but he was the same as ever with no real charm. Nobody in this film really stood out to me as everyone was boring and the whole story was kind of rushed.

Day 305 - Ichi (Japanese)

Ichi film cover.jpg

"Ichi (?) is a goze (blind woman) who is travelling Japan in search of her mentor, who was the actual Zatoichi."

A nice action flick that should have been more dramatic as a lot of it was boring. The action scenes were decent but they needed some more work. The depth of the characters could have been better as well as the story since the film had a comical feel to it. Even though its really not suppose to be comical. The actress playing Ichi could have been better but she was the best part of the film.

"After fighting the Soviets as a volunteer during the Winter War in Finland, Max Manus returns to Norway, finding it occupied by the Nazis. He joins with the Norwegian resistance movement in their fight against the Germans but is arrested."

A decent war film about a man who has fought the Nazis since the very beginning until the very end. There were a lot of slow moments which made several scenes quite boring. The action scenes were poorly done as was some of the more dramatic scenes. I found if hard to believe the acting as most of the actors were kind of dull.

But when he has to pass a border, a part of his property is taken away from him on behest of a greedy local nobleman. When his legal protest proves futile, the situation escalates and Kohlhaas turns into a lawless desperado."

A nice drama film that puts the story over the action scenes which I really enjoyed. The character of Michael was so detailed it made everyone else lack depth thus stalled the success of the film. There were a ton of great shots, many beautiful things but it was kind of slow and not in a good way. There was a lot of pain in the movie but if the director had done things differently it could have been a great movie.

However, little does he realize that his would-be girlfriend is in fact a North Korean spy who is trying to keep a low profile."

A simple romantic comedy that seems over the top and kind of is. Its a lot if you like happy go lucky films with a cute girl as the romantic interest. There's no real repeat viewing of this movie and it feels like an extremely outdated film. This is the kind of film that you wish was longer so you'll have a better ending.

Day 301 - Bag of Bones (American TV movie)

"Best-selling novelist Mike Noonan and his wife, Jo, are unable to conceive children; Mike conceals that he has a low sperm count. Jo is killed by a bus while crossing a street. As she dies in his arms, Mike notices she bought a pregnancy test, and assumes that she may have been having an affair. Overcome by grief from her death, Mike develops a case of writer's block. He suffers a series of nightmares about his wife and their summer home on Dark Score Lake in Maine. On advice from his brother, Sid, Mike takes a trip to the summer house."

Pierce Brosnan did a great job as the main protagonist but with poor direction and editing the quality of this film is greatly lowered. Most of the movie the director tried to scare us more than trying to tell a good enough story that will scare us. Sadly I was looking forward to this movie since it was an adaption of one of Stephen King's books. The supporting cast could have done better as well since a lot of their acting was a little corny. Overall this film could have been better in the right hands.

There's also a ton of stars who talk about their experiences with certain systems and games. ITs not a simply boring film about the technology its one of the best and most entertaining documentary about video games.

Day 299 - Hard Candy (American)

HardCandy movieposter.jpg
" vigilante thriller film focusing on the torture of a suspected sexual predator by a 14-year-old vigilante."

Hard Candy was an excellent movie to watch on Halloween, it was suspenseful with a few laughable movements and a lot of mind games. Patrick Wilson was on top of his game as some of his facial expressions were simply priceless. Ellen Page did a great job playing a 14 year old vigilante and is quite worth the watch. This film is best for those that like mind games. Felt like Sandra Oh's cameo was slightly unnecessary.

Day 298 - Mimic (American)

"Manhattan, cockroaches are spreading the deadly "Strickler's Disease" that is claiming hundreds of the city's children. Entomologist Susan Tyler (Mira Sorvino) uses genetic engineering to create what she and her colleague (and husband) Peter Mann (Jeremy Northam) call the Judas Breed, a large insect (looking like a cross between a termite and a praying mantis) that releases an enzyme that kills off the disease-carrying roaches by speeding up their metabolism. The Judas Breed works spectacularly and the crisis is abated. The released population was all-female and designed with a lifespan of only a few months, so that it would only last one generation."

Guillermo Del Toro's second full length film which was no disappointment. I watched this movie in order to see the directors beginning. You see his personal style start to develop in this film for example religious characters and dark setting as well as the dark blue color present in most of his movies. Now the story could have been better but it was still a great watch. I would watch this film if you are a fan of Del Toro.

Day 297 - The Princess and The Pilot (Japanese)

"Koroku Inumura's original war romance light novel revolves around Charles Karino, a Levamme Empire mercenary aerial pilot who mans the twin-seater reconnaissance seaplane Santa Cruz. One day, he receives a surprise assignment: to fly over 12,000 kilometers of enemy waters to protect a girl named Juana del Moral. This mission is actually a covert operation as the original escort was taken down by the enemy. Charles eventually discovers that both the original operation and the covert operation have been figured by the enemy decoding military telegraphs sent by the crown prince to Juana"

A better animation film that I wasn't expecting to be all that good. The animation present in the film was well done but still needed a lot more work. The character design was also great with most of the depth belonging to the two main characters. The plot was good but there are a few holes that will you leave you wandering if it was on purpose or not. If you watch this movie don't expect a traditional happy ending like in a Disney movie. The film is perfect for a slow day and you want a decent animation film.
