"Fai (Nick Cheung), a legendary triad figure, was convicted and sent to prison for life, for slaughtering rival gangsters in a gang fight. A local council member assisted him with paroling, leading to his subsequent early release from prison 30 years later. Mongkok has, however, completely changed and he has almost forgotten his way back home."
It was hard to take this movie seriously because of the poor direction. I enjoy Nick Cheung in this film but I wish his character was written better. It might have been better if the film was more serious which would have connected us to the character more. I did enjoy the scenes with Monica Mok but I wish there could have been more. The whole film seemed kind of rushed which caused the film to crash and burn instead of being truly entertaining.
